Little History of our Beloved Community
Esanma Community is one of 11 Ijaw Communities in Bomadi Local Government Area, south of Delta State, Nigeria.
The Community metamorphosed from a substantially fishing settlement along the river Forcados, to a bustling rural hub of repute.
Esanma Community's educational investments began in the 1900s with the founding of Ekarde Primary School, and Esanma Grammar School in 1980.
These two institutions together have produced for her eminent personalities who had had exploits in their chosen careers and had indicated the desire to give to her what she had given them.
In March of 2023, Sir Paul James Seikegba, a prominent son of Esanma, initiated the founding of BoostUpEsanma, a Non-governmental Organisation with the mandate to empower, train, sponsor and give people the opportunity to discover themselves.
On July 4, 2024 BoostUpEsanma was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as Esanma Community Development Association with registration No. 7648394.
Esanma Community Development Association as an Entity has also generated VAT/TIN number from the Federal Inland Revenue Service with 32203949-0001.
The Association has its Secretariat at Ekarde Square, Enereware Quarter, Esanma Town.
